August Bleser, Jr., born around 1898, was an American illustrator active during the early 20th Century. Bleser painted landscapes and other scenes, but was best known for portraying men and women in in scenes from New years Eve parties to love struck couples. Bleser was also in demand for commercial art, using his realistic painting style.

George Hughes, born 1907, was an American illustrator best known for his illustrations for the Saturday Evening Post. Born in New York City, Hughes attended the National Academy of Design and the Art Students’ League in the city. After finishing his education, he provided freelance illustrations to the fashion industry including works for Vanity Fair and House and Garden .  In 1936 he moved from New York to Detroit and was contracted as a special designer, a Mechanical Design

John Philip Falter , born 28 February 1910, was an American artist best known for his many cover paintings for The Saturday Evening Post . Although best known for his Saturday Evening Post covers, of which he produced 129, Falter also provided illustrations for numerous other publications, including Esquire , Good Housekeeping , Cosmopolitan , McCall's , Life Magazine and Look . Falter was a prolific artist who depicted a wide range of subject matter in a variety of media.

Nell Brinkley was an American illustrator and comic artist who was often referred to as the "Queen of Comics" during her nearly four-decade career working with New York newspapers and magazines. She was the creator of the Brinkley Girl, a stylish character who appeared in her comics and became a popular symbol in songs, films and theatre.
